Usage Policy

Acceptable Use Policy (AUP).

This AUP governs how our systems, hosting and remote services may be used.

Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) applies to all services provided by SuDo IT-Solutions, in particular hosting, remote emergency support, managed services, monitoring, and related online services.

Prohibited use

The customer agrees not to use the services for unlawful or abusive purposes. Prohibited uses include, as far as legally permitted:
• storing or distributing illegal content (e.g. hate speech, child abuse material, copyright violations)
• sending spam, mass mail or unsolicited commercial messages
• hacking, port scans, attacks on third parties, botnet control or similar security attacks
• hosting malware, phishing sites or fraudulent offerings
• using software in breach of third-party licence terms
• resource usage leading to unreasonable load on the infrastructure (e.g. DoS-like behaviour)

Security & access credentials

Customers must keep access credentials, passwords, keys and tokens confidential and protect them from unauthorised use. Access using valid credentials will be attributed to the customer unless misuse without their involvement can be demonstrated.

Customers shall notify SuDo IT-Solutions without undue delay if compromise of credentials is suspected.

Responsibility for content

Customers are solely responsible for any content stored, processed or distributed via our infrastructure. SuDo IT-Solutions is not obliged to proactively monitor or review content. If we become aware of unlawful content, we may block or remove it where legally permitted.

Blocking & actions

In case of a violation of this AUP, SuDo IT-Solutions may take appropriate measures, including:
• blocking individual accounts or services
• restricting features or bandwidth
• temporarily or permanently disabling affected systems
• immediate termination of contracts in severe cases

Where feasible, the customer will be informed in advance or as soon as reasonably possible.

Legal basis & precedence

This AUP supplements our General Terms and Conditions (AGB), Terms of Service (TOS) and any individual SLA agreements. In case of conflict, individually agreed terms (e.g. SLA) shall prevail where more specific.

Changes

SuDo IT-Solutions may amend this AUP for the future. Customers will be informed about material changes in an appropriate way. The current version is available on this page.
