Backups and snapshots are deliberately offered as a separate service in addition to our hosting packages. This way you stay in control of scope, retention and budget – without hidden clauses.

We work 100 % remotely and align with best practices without overcomplicating your setup. The key point: you know in advance what is protected, how long and under which conditions.

Backup packages

Three tiers for different needs – from small projects to business-critical applications.
For small sites & test setups

SIS Backup.Tiny

from €14.99 / month (incl. VAT)

Entry package for smaller websites, landing pages or internal tools where availability matters but is not strictly business-critical.

  • 1x daily backup of key data (files + database where technically feasible)
  • Backup retention: typically 7 days
  • 1 snapshot per month included (up to 3 restore points kept)
  • Optional restore based on effort (see recovery conditions)
For productive company websites

SIS Backup.Core

from €24.99 / month (incl. VAT)

Suitable for productive websites, portals and smaller applications with business-relevant data.

  • Typically 1–2 backups per day (depending on system and agreement)
  • Backup retention: typically 14 days
  • 1 snapshot per month included, additional snapshots optional
  • Preferred handling of recovery requests within usual response windows
For business-critical workloads

SIS Backup.Vault

from €39.99 / month (incl. VAT)

For systems where outages directly cause costs or compliance requirements apply.

  • Multi-level backup concept (e.g. daily full backups + intermediate states by agreement)
  • Backup retention: typically 30 days
  • 1 snapshot per month included, prioritised recovery within usual SLA windows
  • Suitable as a building block for audit & compliance concepts (e.g. ISO-oriented)

All packages are provided 100 % remotely. On-site services are not included.

Snapshots & recovery

Snapshots for quick restore – with a clear framework and predictable costs.

Each hosting package usually includes one snapshot per month. This snapshot can serve as a restore point if the system needs to be rolled back (e.g. after a failed update).

By default we keep up to three restore points, where technically possible. Additional snapshots or different retention periods can be agreed individually.

Recovery conditions (example framework)

  • Restore from an existing snapshot: typically from €49.90 (incl. VAT) per incident (depending on scope and system).
  • Restores from archive backups or special cases may incur different costs (communicated in advance).
  • Recovery is performed exclusively remotely. Critical incidents can be escalated via our emergency support.
Transparent terms – no unpleasant surprises.

All prices mentioned are indicative in EUR and – unless stated otherwise – are gross prices including applicable VAT. Concrete offers are provided after a short assessment of your environment.

Backup packages are usually billed monthly. Without a separate agreement, a term of one month applies. For longer-term agreements, discounts of up to around 5 % may be granted. A SEPA direct debit mandate is typically required as the basis.

Backups and snapshots are provided with due care. As is standard in the industry, a legal guarantee for complete recoverability in every individual case cannot be given. However, we work according to best practices and define the strategy transparently with you.
